Meet Kimberly Whitaker

A practical approach to real estate, grounded in the people and plans behind the move.

A Houston story, with a global perspective
Hi, I’m Kim.
I’m a native Houstonian, wife, mom of two, and real estate investor who calls the Missouri City and Sugar Land area home. I know a move is about more than a property. It’s about how you want to live—and what comes next.
I earned my bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M and my MBA at Rice University. Before real estate, I spent more than a decade at KBR in procurement and operations, negotiating high-value agreements, managing vendor relationships, and taking on regional leadership responsibilities in Australia.
That experience shaped the way I work today: ask good questions, understand the numbers, read the details, and keep people informed. My marketing and business operations background also helps me bring structure and follow-through to the process.
My husband, John, and I invest in real estate, including single-family and multifamily properties. That hands-on perspective keeps me thinking beyond closing day: maintenance, cash flow, long-term costs, and whether a property fits the plan.
Let’s get acquaintedRooted in this community
Home is also
the people around it.
I serve on the Colony Lakes HOA board and volunteer through the Parent Association at Cornerstone Christian Academy. Those connections keep me close to the everyday conversations that make a neighborhood feel like home.
Animal rescue is close to my heart, too, including volunteering with Three Little Pitties Animal Rescue.
A little beyond real estate
Family, garden beds,
and a sourdough starter.
Away from work, you’ll find me spending time with John and our two children, gardening, baking sourdough, or making room in life for rescue dogs.
I appreciate the practical side of making a home work well. It’s one reason I enjoy helping people think through their next chapter—whether that means more room, less upkeep, a relocation, or an investment.
